Here's a little book by a relatively new author to me, Joyce Carol Oates.
It's about a young group of college co-eds who are attracted to and eventually seduced by their English professor and his wife. Of course, things do not work out the way these naive young women expect.
Certainly not the kind of subject matter I'm normally drawn to, but it was short enough to take a chance on and actually turned out to be a nice surprise.
Joyce Carol Oates is a fairly prolific author and this experience will encourage me to seek out more of her work.
